Later, we'll visit the archaeological Complex of Moray which is located to 7 km. southwest of Maras; this is a collection of enormous terraces which sit on top of a giant pit. These beautiful terraces served as an agricultural laboratory (a kind of greenhouse prototype) in the time of the Incas. Finally, we will have time to visit the Salineras which is located to the northwest of the town of Maras. These are about 2000 small wells with an average of 5m squared each which have been exploited since the Inca's times until today. Return to Cuzco city.
