The Empresa Peruana del Año award and the Selection Committee are also sponsored by leading business institutions, both Peruvian and foreigner, therefore this award is considered the most important of its kind in Peru. This prize has been conferred for 20 years now, and it is widely acknowledged among Peruvian business leaders and government institutions.
