You will visit Lake Titicaca – the world’s highest lake and its typical floating islands,  as well as the typical and colorful folklore which represent a great number of unique living attractions together with the customs of its inhabitants and of course, the beauty of the flora and fauna of this Andean region. Itemised description of the travel package

The first day after breakfast we will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco. We will start our journey south to Puno and Lake Titicaca. Along the trip we will visit different tourist attractions such as Andahuaylillas, Raqchi - The Temple of the Sun, The Thermal baths of La Raya Sicuani and Pukara. We will get to Puno city in the afternoon and take you to your hotel.

The second day early in the morning we will pick you up from the hotel in Puno to go on a ride on the world highest lake, El Titicaca. We will visit the floating island of Los Uros, and the island of Amantani where we will have our lunch in a local house. Later we will hike around Amantani and we will have our dinner and an overnight in local house.

The third day we will have breakfast in the island of Amantani and then head for another island of Lake Titicaca. This time we will visit Taquile where we will have a great walk around the village of Taquile. We will learn about the customs, lifestyle of one of the most beautiful islands of Lake Titicaca. Later we will have our lunch in the island and return to your hotel in the city of Puno.

The fourth day will be your farewell. Transfer from the hotel in Puno to the airport and then go to the departure corridor where we will say our goodbyes.

What is included in this travel package

The tour of Lake Titicaca and the islands in Puno includes: Transportation from Cusco to Puno, hotel of your choice for two nights with breakfast included, English-Spanish tour guide, entrance tickets to all mentioned tourist attractions, boat transportation (3 hour and ½ navigation), overnight home-stay, lunch, dinner and breakfast in Amantani (houses are very simple and toilets are basic). The local family will provide you also with three or more clean blankets. However we suggest using your sleeping bag if you have one with you.
