The impressive Manu includes mountains, cloud forest and jungle. In this area we can find small villages, native communities engaged in productive activities such as farming and logging on a smaller scale, we can also appreciate the flora and fauna.

ITEMISED DESCRIPTION OF THE TOURIST PACKAGE

FIRST DAY: CUSCO - PAUCARTAMBO - CLOUD FOREST - BAMBOO LODGE.

The first day of our adventure into the jungle of Manu, we will pick you up around 6:00 AM from your hotel in Cusco, using our private shuttle service. The first part of our journey took us through the majestic Andean mountains, where we will have the opportunity to visit a beautiful lake called Hucarpay, a high Andean Lagoon that boasts the variety of flora and fauna of the Andes mountains. Then visit the town of Huancarani which contains the funeral towers Ninamarca, which will visit briefly on our way to Paucartambo. At noon we reach the entrance of Manu National Park and access to one of the most protected natural areas in South America.Continue in our private transport, descending through a thick fog from which this section of the forest takes the name of Cloud Forest. Eventually we arrive at the home of the exotic Peru's national bird: the Cock of the Rocks, where they meet others of their kind to a kind of social gathering that appears to resemble a grand procession. You will find that this show is pretty amazing complete with an impressive collection of sounds and colors that can be only found in the jungle. For our first night, will stay in the beautiful Bamboo Lodge, where we will arrive at approximately 5:00 PM.

PRE INCA SEMENTERIO NINAMARCA: Ninamarca is an Inca cemetery located on the route towards the Manu National Park to 3700msnm. These towers are a reminder or chullpas quiet pre-Inca civilization known as "Lupaca" whose people inhabited the prior several years ago.

PAUCARTAMBO: This community is located in a valley 2.906msnm. Paucartambo overwhelm you with their beauty and sympathy. This colonial town is renowned folkloric attractions like the famous festival of the Virgen del Carmen, the sunrise of three crosses and ancient cultural tradition to grow potatoes, this small colonial town has maintained its rich tradition for centuries.

CLOUD FOREST: Manu covers many types of ecosystems that increase biological diversity is strengthened by their different levels of green. The southernmost point of the park, called Acjanaco is 3550Msnm. The landscape is described as Pajonal high Andean or High Andean grasslands.The vegetation in this area is short and not very abundant, the weather is usually cold and wet. 
Going down these places we come to dwarf forest, with its small trees, the air cold and damp and a diversity of flora and fauna of the area. Further down, between 3000 - 1550msnm.becomes the cloud forest, an ecosystem that receives a large amount of rain. Here we find a large number of endemic species like the spectacled bear and the Cock of the Rock (Rupicola peruviana) - Peru's national bird.

BAMBOO LODGE: Our lodge is located at the 550msnm. A quiet before Pilcopata village, the lodge was built in 2004, the Lodge offers two-bedroom bungalows, two beds in each room and bath and shower with hot and cold water. The Lodge has a kitchen and dining room, the walls of the Lodge are made of bamboo, the thatched with grass or special Grass grows in the area and the floor is made of wood. Near the Lodge is a small plantation of coca.

SECOND DAY: BAMBOO LODGE - PILCOPATA - ATALAYA - RIO ALTO MADRE DE DIOS - MANU.

After waking up one morning strident sounds of the jungle will have the option to take breakfast before the walk with our guide. After breakfast we will hike through the jungle on board our motorized canoe to begin our journey down the Rio Alto Madre de Dios (or the Amaru Mayu, Snake River as it was known by the Incas), spending the last folds of the Cordillera de los Andes, to its confluence with the Manu River. We will spend some native communities in the path of river. 
Once you get to the Manu River start to travel through this river up for about 4 hours to get to our lodge which is within the reserved zone of Manu National Park.

ALTO RIO MADRE DE DIOS: Madre de Dios River begins in the highlands of Cusco, the start of the river is called Rio Pilcopata near Atalaya (the place where he began the trip by boat). The river joins the river Pilcopata Piñipiñi and this is where the river changes its name to Rio Alto Madre de Dios. 
Madre de Dios River has the same name as the region of Peru (Department of Madre de Dios).

This river passes through this region to come to Bolivia where renamed to Beni and then continue north to Brazil, where the river takes the name of Madeira. The Madeira River is a tributary of the Amazon.

THIRD DAY: MANU BIOSPHERE RESERVE THE WHOLE DAY

Today, very early, we will visit Pakitza, which is known as one of the first Biological Stations created for scientific research in the Manu. The Harpy Eagle or Pakitza, which is an expression Machiguenga, is still an unknown place for visitors, but will one day be visited after the tourist sites. Walk through a complex system of roads where the forest exposes its natural beauty for us. Perhaps we will have the opportunity to see a group of monkeys Camarines, which are the smallest monkeys in the world. Later in the evening, we visit another system of roads, with a complete different characteristics than the first. The guide will explain why this group of plants native to the area are used as traditional medicine.

CASA MACHIGUENGA: Machiguenga Our lodge is located inside the Manu National Park, near Cocha (Lake) Salvador.The lodge is established and administered by native Amerindians Machiguenga two communities which are located in the heart of Manu National Park. From the hostel we have access to lakes and unexplored forests of Manu.

BIOSPHERE RESERVE OF MANU: Manu National Park is a Biosphere Reserve located between the departments of Madre de Dios and Cusco Paucartambo. Before becoming an area protected by the Peruvian government, Manu National Park was preserved by its inaccessibility. The park is fairly inaccessible by road until today. In 1977, UNESCO recognized as a Biosphere Reserve and in 1987 was declared a World Heritage Site. Manu National Park is the largest in Peru, with an area of 15 328 km ². The Biosphere Reserve includes other 2,570 km ² and an extra 914 km ² are included in a "Cultural Zone" (also protected), bringing the total area of 18 811 km ².

The park protects various ecological zones ranging from the lower part which is the 150msnm.In the basin of the Amazon to the Andes or Puna at a height of 4,200 meters. This range topography is the major contributing factor to the park has one of the highest levels of biodiversity of the parks in the world. In total, over 15,000 plant species found in Manu, and up to 250 varieties of trees have been found in a single hectare. The reserve is a destination for birders worldwide, as is home to over 1,000 species of birds, more than the number of bird species found in the United States and Canada combined.

ANIMALS OF THE MANU BIOSPHERE: Manu is the most biologically diverse region of the Amazon to consider mammals. It offers opportunities to see about 200 species of mammals. There are 13 species of monkeys, and it is estimated that there are over 100 species of bats.

FOURTH DAY: BIOSPHERE RESERVES OF MANU - MANU MOUTH.

This day we will visit an oxbow lake or lake which will arrive by walking through the forest.

Cocha Otorongo - "Jaguar Lake, where we will have the opportunity to see more wildlife here.We can meet with groups of monkeys, especially with groups of woolly monkeys woolly or common. Will pay special attention to the plant life of the place, which we ara signals, noise drops of your fruits and leaves which would indicate the presence of any animal or bird. After a leisurely lunch sail downstream to reach the town of Boca Manu where we spend the night in a hostel. (D + A + C)

RIO MANU: Manu River is one of the main tributaries of the Madre de Dios River, which itself is a tributary of the Amazon River.

Manu River is located in the southeast section of Peru. Descends from the eastern slopes of the Andes to the Amazon basin through Manu National Park. Manu River has a high concentration of wildlife in its waters and along its banks. You will see many black and white alligators resting on its shores. We have reports of a group of our tourists who had the opportunity to see five jaguars on a morning. Also along the river, you can see several monkeys, deer, capybaras, tapirs and many varieties of birds.

FIFTH DAY: BOCA MANU - BAMBOO LODGE

Today we begin our return trip through the Alto Madre de Dios river, will be 7 hour boat trip and a couple of hours by bus to get to our hostel in ownership.

SIXTH DAY: BAMBOO LODGE - CUSCO.

This day we begin our journey back to the city of Cusco to first pass through the lek of the national bird of Peru, after that continue on to Cusco, arriving at 3pm east approx.

On this tour you can see a wide variety of birds like 
Guan, Quetzales, Trogons, toucans, Toucans, Tanagers, Eagles, Alcones, Caracas, Catch flies, Watchmakers, Birds Wrens, Hummingbirds or hummingbirds, birds Beyond.

Mammals can also be seen as:

Woolly monkeys, capuchin monkeys, coatis, Taira, Fox Andean Agouti or cihuayro.

SEVENTH DAY: FAREWELL
