Arequipa is one of the most important cities of Peru. It is known as the "White City" for its constructions in ashlar (volcanic white-stone) which was mainly used in the main neighborhoods of the white city. Arequipa was built at the foot of Misti Volcano; it also has a beautiful countryside and lots of tourist attractions for visitors. The Monastery of Santa Catalina is one of the most important touristic places in Arequipa. There are also other impressive places to visit such as the Mirador of  Yanahuara, the Colca valley and Colca Canyon where you will have the chance to see and experience the majestic flight of Andean Condors.

Itemised description of this travel package

The first day we will be waiting for your arrival at the airport of Arequipa and then take you to the hotel where you will be able to relax in the morning. We will pick you up in the afternoon to take you on a tour of the White City- Arequipa. Some of the places we will visit are Santa Catalina Convent with countless pieces colonial art, a tour of  the Plaza de Armas, the church of la Compañia de Jesus and some of the neighborhoods if Arequipa. We will also take you to Yanahuara to have a magnificent view of Misti Volcano among other things.

The second day after an early breakfast we will pick you up from the hotel and head for the Colca Canyon, along the way we will go past the foot of Chachani Volcano, the plains of Cañahuas, the Vicuña National Reserve. You will also enjoy the typical flora and fauna of this Andean region and the natural lakes and Sea bofedales. After lunch we will visit the thermal bath of La Calera. Dinner and accommodation in the Valley of Colca.

The third day we will head for the Cruz del Condor from where we will be able to see the Condor in the wild. After a brief stop at the Cruz del Condor we will continue our journey through the Colca Canyon and we will have a nice view of the small towns of Pinchocclo, Madrigal, Maca, Yanque, etc. Later in the afternoon we will leave the canyon of Colca and return to the hotel in Arequipa.

The fourth day we will pick you up from the hotel to the airport after breakfast. At  the  airport of Arequipa we will say our goodbyes.
