Hi, this is Ben Salizar Paro – General Manager of TOUR IN PERU.
On this occasion I express my congratulations to all of us who are part of the TOUR IN PERU team for this 12th Anniversary:
To our partners and strategic allies: Office Administrative Team, Marketing and Sales Advisors, Integrated Management System – IMS Advisors, Guides, Drivers, Cooks, Muleteers, Support Personnel, Operators, Hotels, Community-based Tourism businesses, and our other groups of interest; with them we have been working hand in hand, generating life stories, throughout these 12 years.
A special thanks to all our clients, travelers who allow the work of this great team to be reflected in their memorable travel experiences, responsible experiences, purposeful travel experiences.
TOUR IN PERU, reaches this 12th Anniversary having reached one of its greatest goals: to achieve, not only an international certification, but 4: One in Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility through TOURCERT in 2019, another in Environmental Responsibility through ISO 14001, another in Occupational Health and Safety through ISO 45001, and another in Quality through ISO 9001.
It is noteworthy that the certifications of the 3 ISO Standards were achieved only a few days ago and it was achieved thanks to the Turismo Emprende Program of MINCETUR and the great commitment that all the members of this team made, especially in this last year.
This fact takes on greater relevance for all of us, even more because we succeeded: first, despite not having all the team members reactivated to the 100%; second, despite the diligent audits of the Certifying House, both virtual and face-to-face, to whom we are very grateful for this; they simply enhance our certification by making our Integrated Management System much more powerful and efficient; and third, despite a completely adverse situation, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
TIP has also achieved a series of recognitions and awards throughout the 12 years of institutional life, which are simply a great example of our commitment to our tourism sector, our region and our country. Among these recognitions are: the Peruvian Company of the Year Award, Use of the Peru Brand, the Safe Travels Seal, the Certification of Quality in Tourism – CALTUR of LEVEL II, Certification of Good Practices in Trekking – SABP Trekking, among many others.
At TIP we can proudly say that to date we have an Integrated Management System as powerful as imperfect; but that we work based on the methodology of quality and continuous improvement.
And that is what it is all about, that today we do things much better than before, and tomorrow better than today. That we continue to be better for the good of our customers, our society, our industry, our environment.
We do not want to be the best company in the world, but TOUR IN PERU, a better company for the world! Congrats for you all on this 12th Anniversary.
