Interpretive Center of Machu Picchu is Opened in Ollantaytambo
The National Service of Protected Natural Areas (SERNAMP) opened the Interpretation Centre of Machu Picchu, this week, in the rural community of Piscacucho district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba.
The Interpretive Center was created with the purpose of having a place where tourists could appreciate the varied biodiversity of flora and fauna (more than 400 species) throughout the area declared as Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
It is also highlighted that the entrance to the place is free for all Peruvians and tourists from all over the World who wish to visit the place.
