Our personnel will pick you up at agreed time from your hotel in Lima to take to the embarkation point in the District of La Punta at Callao Sea Port.
Once at the meeting point, our guides will privide you a short brefing before the tour. The information you will receive is bascially recommendations and explanation for this great experience trip to the Palomino Islands.
Our tour starts as soon as we have the signal to start our tour. On board our yacht, we head towards the many islands of this part of the Peruvian costal area (Callao Seaport).
Along the tour, we will appreciate the anchorage of the yachts, war ships and freighters in the bay, will pass through El Camotal and our guide will share some stories about the old ship wrecks and grounded ships in this island. We will also pass San Lorenzo Island, rich in stories dating back to pre- Columbian times.
Fishermen in their boats hauling nets, several Guano bird and Humboldt penguin rookeries will be appreciated along the yacht ride. Finally we will reach the furthest point of our trip, that of the Palomino Islands which harbours a big rookery colony of Sea Lions and the place where we will swim (wearing neoprene wet suits) with a colony of these mammals. Afterwards, we will start our journey back to the dock crossing craggy islands and sounds of impressive forms.
The tour ends at La Punta Port of Callao; if desired and arranged in advance, we can provide you with transfer back to your hotel in Lima.
