About Us

Our Lima City Tour will take you to its most important, rewarding places. The attractions cover pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary wonderful spots. We surely want you not having any issue about proper clothing, so please read this illustrative article.

Packing Correctly for the Lima City Tour

In Lima, weather conditions throughout the year are way different than in the Cusco region, so it is necessary to tell our visitors about it, thus they won’t have any “wardrobe malfunction”!

Spring – Summer: from mid-September until early April, climate is warm to really hot, and since the city is on a desert coast, there is no rain at all. The right packing thus is summer clothes: t-shirts, light shirts, summer pants (we don’t recommend jeans), cotton socks. Also you must bring a sun hat, sunglasses, sunblock because temperature can reach beyond 30°C, with full sunlight. At nights it is also warm or hot, so wear light pajamas for bedtime. In your backpack, don’t forget to put bottled water and a small towel for total comfort. If you want, pack some snacks for the excursion or have some money in cash to buy them.

Autumn – Winter: it spans from mid-April until mid-September and weather is totally different. It is cold and humid, peaking from June to August. However, proper warm clothes will solve everything. For those seasons, right packing would be warm jackets and sweaters, a scarf maybe, warm shirts, winter pants or jeans, winter socks. Bring a cap, sunglasses anyway for the wind many times blows fast. Winter pajamas. Instead of cold bottled water you may prefer some hot beverage in your backpack for the tour. No rain either, at the most a very rare light one that will only shine the sidewalks a little.

Visiting Peru’s capital will give you great opportunities for shopping typical products, enjoy the world-famous Peruvian food and drinks at their finest, learn about the quite interesting history of the city and admire its wonderful architecture. Plenty of really valuable pictures and videos are also guaranteed. You can find more information following this link to the Lima City tour FAQ.
