About Us

Very recently, the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu was found to be the most photographed touristic place in Latin America, due of course to its astonishing beauty; besides, it is undoubtedly Peru’s most important destination and one of the premier touristic travels worldwide. Here are all the reasons to visit Machu Picchu in 2018!

Conquer Machu Picchu in 2018, One of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World

The Inca citadel of Machu Picchu is located on quite an odd place, chosen by them for several religious reasons, for instance, being at the intersection of four of the most important mountains of the region (they considered mountains to have a spirit and therefore sacred). Once there, you will enjoy one of the most awesome views available on Earth: a wide, blue sky filled with cotton clouds, huge green mountains around, and the deep valley below, with the Urubamba river flowing like a thin silver line. Ideal for great pictures and videos of your visit you can share on social media. Ah, and let’s not forget the free llamas walking around the citadel and amusing everybody!

And if you want, TOUR IN PERU gives you the additional option to hike the Huayna Picchu, which is the higher mountain next to the citadel! As you climb, you will find several constructions the Incas built on this mountain, and finally at the summit you will have a quite amazing view of the citadel and the entire valley!

Machu Picchu, The Hidden Jewel of the Inca Empire

Enjoy Machu Picchu and relax yourself

Relax and enjoy every second of Machu Picchu

The citadel was built when the Incas were rising from a local kingdom in the Cusco valley to an empire (which ultimately reached Colombia, Chile and Argentina); so their leaders and particularly emperor Pachacutec wanted a place to get away from everything and also practice their mystical rituals. Machu Picchu was built in order to be a luxury retreat for Inca royalty and also a place for spiritual practices; they found a very discreet location which was also surrounded by beauty and tranquility, and with a strong flow of natural energy.

The wonderful thing is that even today Machu Picchu keeps playing its role! People from all over the world visit the citadel on the top of a mountain to take a break from modern urban life, relax their body and minds and get charged with spiritual and natural energy! For almost 500 years the citadel was buried under vegetation, because the Spanish invaders never found it, known only by nearby villagers and peasants, until American explorer and scholar Hiram Bingham found it and got it ready for archaeological and historical research.

Fill Your Body and Mind With the Strong Energies of the Sanctuary

Indeed, Machu Picchu was built where it is for mystical reasons. Their leaders were people who knew the religious traditions of the Andes way before them, so the citadel was an isolated place in the middle of nature, in an environment with calming, uplifting views and quietude.

Machu Picchu energy: take the most for your body and mind

Take the energy from Machu Picchu for your body and mind

Back in Inca days, they walked from Cusco city to the sanctuary (thus they were the first Inca Trailers! And horses are not originally from South America) filling themselves with all the natural energy of Andean nature along the way; once at the citadel, days were spent on long talks about the situation, problems, solutions and the future of the empire, having feasts of typical food like corn, guinea-pigs, potato, coca and chicha (typical corn beverage you can still find in Cusco). At nights, they conducted mystical rituals with sacred plants’ beverages, looking for spiritual development, union with nature and, believe or not, to be better leaders for the people; although the Inca elite never allowed the population access to education and democracy, the empire was a place that never knew famine or other forms of poverty, which greatly impressed the Spanish conquerors at their arrival.

Machu Picchu, like all the Andes range, is a place that will give you a huge flow of natural, mystical energy, a spot which is healthy, healing for the body and the mind.

Explore Andean-Inca Geography and History in 2018

The road to Machu Picchu goes across the magnificent and reviving Andean natural might: big mountains and wide valleys, rivers, typical flora and fauna. As you get closer to the citadel, you will be also getting close to the western border of the Peruvian Amazon (the Inca empire also reached and conquered that region). The sanctuary itself stands on a unique geographical location, chosen for mystical reasons, and which dominates all the surrounding valley, full of green and unmatched views.
