They can be fully customized to optimally fit your needs in terms of itinerary, schedule and so on. These Inca Trails can also be done as private tours with private services, which is surely the best way to have the top experience in the Andean highlands, and within a very affordable total price.

In the case of these packages, availability isn’t daily, there is the need to follow a reservation guide process because the number of permits for both of them is restricted, otherwise these Inca Trails would become overcrowded. For the Classic 4-Day Inca Trail, the tickets are sold out until late November 2017, and for the Short 2-Day Inca Trail there are tickets currently available, but this is not always the case.

New Peruvian regulations enacted early July 2017, stipulate that ticket sales will begin October every year, and the Inca Trails season is from March to January each year (February they will be closed for maintenance). So it is really advisable to begin booking procedures in advance; we are a fully licensed, a fully certified tour operator, which is mandatory for buying permits from the Peruvian government.

On this website we keep an availability calendar for both the Classic 4-Day and another calendar for the Short 2-Day Inca Trail which are updated in real time; you can also contact us for further inquiries about permits.

So, everytime we approach October -the official start for ticketing- we recommend you be thinking about beginning the booking process in advance; new regulations have changed the obtaining of a permit to a first come, first serve system, so you must keep this in mind. Essentially, your best shot is to look for permits with some months in advance. Next is the reservation guide.
