About Us

The reopening of the wonderful Inca Trail season is in March 2018, for it is closed every February due to Peruvian regulations. Inca Trail Season Reopens in March 2018

The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is one of the most prestigious, praised and sought-after hikes all around the world. It goes along the old roads the Incas opened to travel through the empire, indeed, it goes literally on the very paths they used. It is necessary though to give them proper care, because of the antiquity and the large flux of hikers, therefore February is the month chosen to conduct conservation and related works. Now every March the Inca Trail has a reopening, which means there are permits available. High season goes from late March to late October approximately, but the entire season spans from March to January. Given the very high demand of permits for the entire season, travelers will do well to start planning their trip at the earliest possible, for which we here at TOUR IN PERU are ready to make your Inca Trail wish comes true.

March 2018: The Inca Trail is open again

With this reopening, it’s going to be Inca Trail new season from March 2018 until January 2019, and reservations will be open! The Short 2-Day Inca Trail consists in some 7 hours of hiking and site visiting on day 1, sleep at a hotel. and on day 2 the amazing professionally-guided tour of the Machu Picchu citadel and later enjoying the nearby Aguas Calientes village. Now the Classic 4-Day Inca Trail consists in a longer route of course, which includes camping nights at the Andean highlands, visits to amazing Inca sites and finally the great reward, the Machu Picchu sanctuary. Both of them will give visitors an unforgettable ride across the Andes, with wide open landscapes of rivers, green mountains and valleys, typical, Andean-only animals like llamas and condors, the most profuse flora and the relaxing, reviving natural energy of the Cusco region which of course reaches its highest at Machu Picchu itself, a place that does not cease to marvel everyone.

You can have a wonderful time watching Peru: Hidden Treasures, the documentary on Netflix.
